North Platte, Neb. - Grab the lawn chairs and gear up for the 10th Annual Music on the Bricks event which is taking place Friday and Saturday in the Canteen District. Friday event will run from 7:00pm - 10:00pm and will feature Bases Loaded. On Saturday, the event will start at 6:00pm and will last until midnight. Saturday's show features the James Burke Trio, tunes from Jim Calhoun, Barb and Brenda and finally Platinum Pearls will end the nights.&nbsp;

Admission is $7 per person and children 12 and under are free. However, if using a credit card, a $1 processing fee will be added so it will be $8. Reminder to bring a lawn chair as seating is very limited.&nbsp;

Taking Place Monday at the fairgrounds is the 4-H Livestock Sale with the buyer's lunch beginning at 12:00pm and the sale begins at 1:00pm. The sale will be a premium only.&nbsp;

4-H is America's largest youth development program across the United States that helps learn skills that will last a lifetime. The age requirement for 4-H is the ages of 8-18. Makynzi Smith and younger brother Dracen Smith are preparing to show calves at this year's fair. The pair began preparing for the fair last fall.&nbsp;

North Platte, Neb. - The North Platte Public Schools Foundation is getting to host a few events July 26th and July 27th. On July 26th, its the Excellence of Evening and on the 27th, it's the Bulldog Classic.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Evening of Excellence is set for July 26th at Venue 304 in North Platte. The event will feature NPHS Distinguished Alumni. The night will feature a cocktail hour, auction, recognition and more. This years theme is Speakeasy, Dirty 30's Celebrating 30 years. Cocktail hour begins at 6:28pm and the event begins at 7:28pm. Tickets are $60 individual or $500 for a table or a new option to reserve a table for $650 with wine or charcutier board. Wichita War Dancer to perform this afternoon at the Buffalo Bill Ranch in North Platte

North Platte, Neb. - The North Platte Pow Wow is getting ready to kick off their fifth year beginning with an event at Pal's Brewing on Thursday with the official ceremony scheduled for Friday and lasting until Sunday. The event brings folks from all over the U.S. to learn Native American culture. This year's Pow Wow is honoring veterans.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The North Platte Pow Wow is July 19th-July 21st at the Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park Museum. Admission is $7 a day or weekend pass is $15. It is advised to bring your own lawn chair to the event and to camp on-site, a NE Game and Parks Permit is required.&nbsp;&nbsp;

North Platte, Neb. - The Banisters Leadership Academy is hosting its 3rd Annual Car Wash fundraiser event on Saturday, July 20th at 1202 N. Jeffers Corner of Jeffers &amp; Rodeo Road. The event is a free will donation, and all proceeds will help fund the North Platte - Lincoln County programming for K-12th grade youth, teaching leadership, life, social and job readiness skills.&nbsp;

Food will be on scene as Rowdy Rott BBQ will be on location and 10% of their proceeds will raised during the event will be donated to the Banisters.&nbsp;&nbsp;
