Arrest Made In Omaha Following South Carolina Exploitation Investigation

 (Omaha, Neb.)  — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol Tech Crimes Unit have arrested a man wanted in connection with an ongoing child exploitation investigation in South Carolina.

NSP was contacted by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office of South Carolina with information that a person wanted on an arrest warrant was believed to be in Omaha. The subject, Luis Romero, was wanted in South Carolina for three counts each of disseminating obscene material to a person under 18 years of age, sexual exploitation of a minor, and solicitation of a minor.

NSP Tech Crimes investigators, with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations, located and arrested Luis Romero, 36, of Omaha, Wednesday morning. Romero was lodged in Douglas County Corrections.
