Lincoln, NE - Dennis Winfrey of Hastings is the third winner of a 2024 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew truck in the 29th edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game.
Winfrey purchased his winning Truck$ & Buck$ ticket at Coach’s Corner at 3212 Osborne Drive E in Hastings. He was presented with his new truck at Coach’s Corner on Thursday, May 27 by Nebraska Lottery officials.
He’d been considering buying a new truck sometime in the near future, so Winfrey decided to give Truck$ & Buck$ a go.
“Somebody’s gotta win it,” he said.
Winfrey lives nearby and whenever he grabbed something at Coach’s Corner, he’d usually grab a Truck$ & Buck$ ticket.
In all, Winfrey estimated he’d only bought about 50 tickets total, about half of which won at least a small prize.
“I figure I’ve probably got $20 in this truck,” he said.
