Ankeny, Iowa – North Platte Community College men's golf team finished 12th at the Grand View Invitational in Ankeny, Iowa on Tuesday.
Taytom Timbers led the way with a 48th place finish. Timbers shot an opening round 82, but rallied with eleven pars in the final round to finish 16-over par.
Layne Smotzer concluded the tournament 21-over par after a second round 77. Caeson Clarke shot his best round on day two, recording a 78 to finish 63rd in the individual standings.
Cole Kramer finished 68th after a final round 88, while Treyten York finished three strokes back of his teammate with a 69th place finish.
Knights will return to the course in the spring to continue the 2024-25 season.
