Kimball, Neb. - A local day care employee has been arrested for child abuse in Kimball according to officials.&nbsp;

According to the Kimball Police Department (KPD), on Friday, August 2nd, around 8:30am (MT), the KPD received a report from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) that a local day care employee allegedly abused and left marks on a 4-year-old boy.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The police department is investigating and learned the incident occurred on July 29th, 2024. Evidence from the investigation showed that the 4-year-old boy was abused.&nbsp;

The suspect who is identified as Ylia Morales, 68, was fired from her position and is now being charged with felony child abuse.&nbsp;
