Lincoln, Neb. – North Platte Community College volleyball used 42 kills to power past Southeast Community College on Monday.
"I think our blocking was finally where we want it to be," said head coach Alexa McCall. "If we find a way to clean up the errors, we will be a force to be reckoned with down the final stretch of the season."
Knights improve to 8-16 overall and 2-1 in Region IX play, while Southeast drops to 4-15 and 0-3 in region matches.
Jaelyn Dicke recorded her third straight game with at least 10 kills while tallying 19 digs in the match. Nya Lual and Kathryn Folkers each tallied eight kills, as the dominant front row combined for six of the Knights 13 blocks against the Bobcats.
Aubrey Grant notched 35 set assists, while fellow sophomore EmiLee Walnofer recorded 24 digs in four sets.
North Platte hits the road for the two-day Pinnacle Bank Classic in Columbus on Friday. Knights open the tournament with Allen County Community College at 3 p.m. inside the Raider Field House.
