KEARNEY, Neb. – The Nebraska DiamondFest Fastpitch softball tournament is set to return for its second year, taking place at Patriot and Harvey Parks. This year, the tournament will host 36 teams from various parts of Nebraska, competing for gold and silver medals in each division.
The tournament features teams from 18 different Nebraska towns, including North Platte and Lincoln, across divisions including 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U/18U. With over 400 players and coaches, the event showcases the talent of girls fastpitch softball in the state.

Organized by the Nebraska Sports Council, with support from presenting sponsor Kearney Visitors Bureau, along with Kearney Parks and Recreation and the Kearney Competitive Girls Softball Association, the event aims to promote athleticism and camaraderie within the community. Sayler Screenprinting serves as the official apparel partner, with Younes Hospitality providing lodging for participants. Local contributors include Angus Burgers & Shakes, John Deere | AKRS Equipment, NDOT Highway Safety Office, Walmart-Kearney, and the Nebraska State Fair.
