Kearney, Neb. - The victim who was killed in last week's bicycle-car collision has been identified as a local man from Kearney.
According to the Buffalo County Sheriff's Office, the victim was identified as Thomas Pribnow, age 48 of Kearney. The driver of the vehicle was Nathaniel Heckenlively, age 39 of Kearney. An autopsy has been ordered by the Buffalo County Attorney's Office.
BCSO says according to preliminary investigation, a bicyclist and a car were traveling eastbound on East 56th Street, just east of Antelope Avenue about a mile outside the city limits of Kearney, NE. The car collided with the rear of the bicycle. The accident occurred around 5:30 am on Thursday, July 30th.
An autopsy has been ordered by the Buffalo County Attorney's Office. The accident investigation continues.
