Nebraska women’s gymnastics will add Reese Baechle to its roster for the 2024-25 season, the team announced on Thursday.
Baechle previously competed for Lindenwood, and marks the second Lion to join the Husker lineup, joining Nya Kraus. “We are pleased to welcome Reese to Lincoln,” head coach Heather Brink said. “I know she’s excited to be a part of the program and get to work. She was an integral part of Lindenwood’s depth on multiple events. I look forward to seeing her continued growth and can’t wait to see her shine under the lights of Devaney.”
The St. Charles, Mo., native was a staple in Lindenwood’s vault and floor lineups, along with competing on bars. She earned 2024 season-bests of 9.900 on vault, 9.850 on bars and 9.900 on floor. She added an impressive average of 9.808 on floor over the course of the year. Baechle will be a redshirt sophomore for Nebraska.
