(LINCOLN, Neb.) – NEST 529 Education Savings Plan is excited to announce the "Look to the Future" Art Challenge Sweepstakes. This new initiative invites Nebraska students aged 5–10 to put their imaginations to paper and envision their dream careers.
The sweepstakes encourages children to creatively express their aspirations by drawing what they want to be when they grow up. From teachers and veterinarians to park rangers and astronauts, children are encouraged to explore the endless possibilities of their futures.
“The first step to accomplishing your dreams is to visualize them,” Nebraska State Treasurer Tom Briese said. “The 'Look to the Future' Art Challenge Sweepstakes gives kids a unique opportunity to envision their potential while also setting them on the path toward educational success.”
The challenge is open to all Nebraska students between the ages of 5 and 10 (as of October 1, 2024) from October 10 to November 10, 2024. To enter, participants should:
- Draw their dream job on an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper using crayons, colored pencils, or other materials.
- Mail in a copy of their artwork, along with the completed entry form, by November 10, 2024. The entry form and artwork should be mailed to:
