WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) urged eligible Nebraskans to apply for FEMA disaster assistance before the deadline July 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
“I urge all eligible Nebraskans affected by April’s storm to apply for federal financial assistance before the deadline next week,” said Senator Ricketts. “My team and I are here to offer any necessary assistance as our communities recover and rebuild from the severe storms.”
Nebraskans in Douglas and Washington counties who were affected by the severe storms and tornadoes that occurred on April 25-27, 2024 are eligible to apply for FEMA disaster assistance.
To apply, individuals can:
- Visit DisasterAssistance.gov
- Call FEMA directly at 800-621-FEMA (3362)
- Download and use the FEMA app
