Buffalo County - Two Wyoming residents were arrested over the weekend in Buffalo County for multiple offenses.
According to the Buffalo County Sheriff's Office (BCS), on Saturday, June 6th, deputies contacted a Dodge Charger that was stopped on the shoulder on I-80 just outside of Kearney. A male and female were inside the vehicle.
The sheriff department reported that during the deputy's conversation with the occupants, the deputies grew suspicious that illegal activity was taking place. While searching the vehicle, deputies discovered 1.09 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and a .45 caliber handgun.
BCSO deputies placed the occupants under arrest and the two are being charged with multiple offenses including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. BCSO did not release the names of the occupants involved.
