Huskers topple Penn State to win first ever Big Ten Championship in baseball

For the first time in program history, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are Big Ten Champions in baseball. After starting on the back foot at the beginning of the tournament earlier last week against Ohio State losing 15-2, the Huskers then went on a run in the Losers bracket. The Huskers then faced Penn State in the Championship match, where they defeated the Nittany Lions 2-1 in 9 innings earning their first Championship as a program.
