“As an organization we are thrilled to add Ilya Morozov to our family. Ilya is a two-way center who plays the game the right way and has high-end offensive upside. Equally as important, he is a leader that that will strengthen our culture through the way he carries himself and goes about his work.”- President of Hockey Operations/Head Coach Anthony Noreen
“As we followed the top 2008-born prospects in the US these first few months of the season, we kept coming back to Ilya as a prime target and talent. Ilya possesses a legitimate hockey brain, great size, and simply helps make others around him better. He is a true playmaking centerman. We feel that Ilya has all the talent and traits to develop into a strong two-way center and impact player at the junior, college, and pro levels as he develops with us these next few seasons. Ilya is currently playing and developing for a quality U15 program with the Windy City Storm. His current Head Coach, Sam Povorozniouk, who previously worked with our coaching staff in Kearney, and who was an Assistant Coach for our 2021-2022 Anderson Cup Championship team, will continue to help him prepare for next season. We've added a quality competitor, leader, and teammate to our club. We are thrilled to welcome Ilya Morozov and his family to the Tri-City Storm organization.” – General Manager Jason Koehler
