“We’ve continued to see some really great things from individuals the last couple of weeks,” said Coach Richard Clark. “I’ve been very impressed with the way our team has continued to grow and learn from each match this year. It’s a matter of time before we hit our stride and I think this weekend will be a great opportunity for us to do so.”

TCU, which won the NCAA Championship in 2024, comes into the match with a 3-1 record, having posted wins against Navy, VMI, and UTEP. The Horned Frogs took a loss against No. 2 Georgia Southern. The Huskers have faced TCU 35 times since 2000, with a record of 4-29-1. At last year’s NCAA Championships, TCU took first (4,732) while Nebraska finished eighth.

Following Saturday’s match, the Big Red will head home to face off against No. 16 UTEP on Sunday, Nov. 10 at the Big Shots Indoor Range in Lincoln. This is the only home meet of the season for the Husker rifle team.
