LINCOLN, Neb. (February 29, 2024) — Nebraska Sports Council (NSC) officials issued an announcement that the Cornhusker State Games Cycle Tour, scheduled for July 14th, has moved to North Platte. The routes will start and finish in scenic Cody Park, with the longer routes traveling through the scenic Sandhills north of North Platte.
A variety of routes ranging from 7.5 to 100 miles will be offered, all with their own unique twist. To view full event information and get registered, visit CSG Cycle Tour.

North Platte provides an opportunity to bike the scenic highways of central Nebraska, as well as the chance to visit the many great attractions in the area, including Buffalo Bill's State Historical Park, home of Buffalo Bill Cody and the Golden Spike Tower, overlooking Bailey Yards, the world's largest railyard.
The Cornhusker State Games is conducted by the Nebraska Sports Council, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission of providing quality sports events and promoting healthy, active lifestyles. The Games are funded primarily through sponsorships from more than 100 Nebraska business, including platinum partners: Farmer’s Mutual of Nebraska, Pepsi-Cola of Lincoln, Nebraska Orthopaedic Center and the Nebraska Medical Association.
