SIDNEY, Neb. - Registration is open for Western Nebraska Community College's next Construction Trades program, an Entry-Level Plumbing course in Sidney starting on October 1.
The Entry-Level Plumbing course is intended for students interested in entering the plumbing industry. The program is designed to help students get their foot-in-the door as a helper or with a goal of being an plumbing apprentice in a 20-week timeframe.
The course is scheduled to complete on February 15, 2025, with classes occurring Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6-9 p.m.), and Saturdays from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Classes will take place at the WNCC Sidney Campus and at 832 11th Avenue in Sidney.
Tuition for the electrical course is $3,750. Financial aid is available through the Nebraska Career Scholarship and Community College Gap Funding for those who qualify.
Upon completion of the program, students will earn a National Center for Construction Education and Research certification. NCCER is a recognized leader in construction and maintenance curriculum.
