North Platte, Neb. - The 2024 Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska's Teen were announced on Saturday as Raechel Warren of Omaha was crowned Miss Nebraska 2024 and Janae Harris of Omaha was crowned Miss Nebraska's Teen. 30 women competed the event which took place at North Platte High School.
For Warren, this is her 10th year in the Miss America program and says this is a dream come true after winning the title on Saturday night. She also wants to use this opportunity to represent Nebraska and promote her platform, "Encouraging youth to discover their passion and purpose by championing mentorship, encouraging community and creating opportunity for self-discovery."
Harris is preparing to start her senior year at Millard North where she is a member of the lacrosse team and is a participant in Millard North's STEM program, which allows students to take college courses. This was Harris' 3rd time ever competing in a pageant and it is a real honor to be crowned the 2024 Miss Nebraska's Teen.
