Nebraska Department of Transportation
(North Platte, Neb.) — Weather permitting, work will begin April 14 on Nebraska Highway 92 (N-92), from reference post 131.90 to reference post 138.60, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Werner Construction, Inc., of Hastings, is the contractor for this project. Work includes milling, asphalt, overlay and widening, grading, cable guardrail, and culvert work. Traffic will be maintained with a pilot car and flaggers. A 10-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is July 2025.
The purpose of this project is to preserve the transportation asset, improve the reliability of the transportation system and perpetuate the mobility of the traveling public.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
