North Platte, Neb. - The Lincoln County CASA is hosting its Kevin Kennedy 5K Superhero run this Saturday at Iron Horse Park in North Platte. The event starts at 5:00pm and the kids' race will start at 5:45pm. The run was created in honor of longtime Lincoln County CASA member Kevin Kennedy who passed away a few years ago. The Lincoln County CASA Kevin Kennedy Annual 5K and Kids Run (Fun Mile) on April 13th at Iron Horse Park, just south of the I-80 Entrance!
The 5K kicks off at 5:00 PM, followed by the Kids Run starting at 5:45 PM. Get ready to dash through the scenic route and enjoy the thrill of the run! Don't forget to dress up as your favorite superhero, because there are prizes awaiting the best superhero costumes! Unleash your inner hero and stand out in the crowd.
Register online by 5:00 PM on Friday the 12th or sign up on the day of the race. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-timer, everyone is welcome to participate!
After the race, refuel with some delicious hot dogs. It's the perfect way to replenish your energy and celebrate your achievement with fellow participants.
