Lisa Pearson of Sutherland is the newest CFMOTO owner in the area after winning Eagle Media’s CFMOTO C-Force 500 giveaway over the weekend.
The giveaway finale was held at Lake Mac Casino Resort & Racetrack, where 20 contestants competed for the ATV. Pearson was the last person standing, earning the grand prize after making it through the final competition.
The format made for a more suspenseful finish than a traditional prize drawing, with contestants required to draw down through the competition until only one remained.
After being named the winner, Pearson admitted she was still processing what had happened.
“I’m very excited. I’m a little shaky,” Pearson said.
Once the excitement wears off, Pearson already knows what she wants to do with her new ride.
“Drive it,” she said with a laugh.
Pearson and her family live in Sutherland, giving her plenty of opportunities to put the C-Force 500 to use around home. She said she plans to take it out and enjoy the area rather than letting her new prize sit in the garage.
The CFMOTO C-Force 500 was the grand prize in the Eagle Media giveaway, bringing together Eagle Media, Lake Mac Casino Resort & Racetrack, North Platte Kubota LLC and Big Mac Tractor and Ag for the promotion.
The weekend giveaway gave 20 contestants a shot at taking home the ATV, but after the final draw, it was Pearson who walked away with the keys.
And when asked who was responsible for making her the winner, Pearson didn't hesitate.
“Eagle Media.”
