North Platte Police Department
North Platte, Neb. - In the first week of June, 2024, The North Platte Police Department received information that adults residing in the 100 block of S. Oak were providing alcohol and tobacco to minors. The police department investigated.
The investigation led to the arrest of Nanette Timms age 66. Timms was arrested for seventeen counts of Procuring Alcohol to Minors a Class I Misdemeanor and nine counts of Selling or Giving Tobacco or a Nicotine Product to a Minor, a Class III Misdemeanor. Angela Timms age 40 was cited for one count of Selling or Giving Tobacco or a Nicotine Product or Device to a Minor a Class III Misdemeanor. Jakob Centeno age 33 was cited for one count of Procuring Alcohol to Minors.
Thirteen citations were issued to juveniles for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and six citations were issued to minors for Use of Tobacco or Nicotine Product or Device by a Minor a Class V Misdemeanor.
