Oshkosh, Neb. — Fifth-grade students from Garden County Schools got an inside look at local government during a special Law Day visit to the Garden County Courthouse.
Courthouse employees welcomed the students and provided them with an educational tour highlighting the legal system and various county services. The event offered hands-on learning opportunities and showcased how different departments work together to serve the public.
School officials called the experience both educational and inspiring, thanking courthouse staff for their time, hospitality, and commitment to civic education.
The visit was part of Law Day activities aimed at helping students better understand the role of local government in their community.
